New opportunity: UEFA Women's Euros 2025
We are tendering the contract to produce the ±«Óãtv’s TV coverage of the UEFA Women’s European Championships 2025 comprising around 16 live TV matches. The tournament will take place in Switzerland in July 2025. Close collaboration with key stakeholders across all areas of ±«Óãtv Sport will be required to ensure the successful delivery of the programmes.
The deadline for initial submissions is 8 November 2024.
TV coverage of sport events - tenders
At ±«Óãtv Sport we get rights to a variety of sporting events to create content for our platforms. The nature and length of rights contracts changes from event to event.
Some of the media rights acquired by ±«Óãtv Sport are put out to tender between independent production companies. Current examples include:
- Snooker: TV coverage provided by IMG Productions to 2024
- England women’s football matches and women’s FA Cup: TV coverage provided by Whisper Productions to 2024
- World Indoor Bowls: TV coverage provided by Sunset & Vine Productions to 2024
Contracts are given based on factors which include experience of delivery, creative proposition, skills base and value for money.
