Some ±«Óãtv Local Radio stations choose to partner with a local charity, running a competitive selection process involving the ±«Óãtv's Appeals Advisory Committee. These partnerships are usually for a year. In the past local radio stations have, for example, raised funds for a chemotherapy vehicle and building a new hospice.
