It's also a fascinating race for the Overseas Sports Personality this year as reflected by your comments. Has there ever been such a competitive year for this prestigious trophy? Where else would you find Tiger Woods versus Roger Federer versus Michael Schumacher?
It's always difficult finding time in a two-hour show to reflect everything you'd like to from an incredible year of sport, but we certainly don't want to forget some of the lighter moments too.
