More postcards...

Eddie Mair | 12:01 UK time, Thursday, 26 July 2007

arrive. Aperitif sends this postcard which comes from the DVLA. The blurb boasts "Now you can tax your vehicle the easy way...online or by phone." Aperitif wonders: "if one can use the bus is one likely to tax another vehicle whilst on it?"

And RJD offers this card from "where I live"...lovely.

I'm glad I read the explanation.

I thought the caption was casting aspertions about the moral standards of the young lady on the phone...

The woman on the bus must have two cars because I'm pretty sure she taxed one last October when she was in the bath!

Nope, wasn't mine, RJD. Mine was the one from last week. Mine's the second one here. In fact, it wasn't me the first time round either. I just asked Eddie to post it on the blog, as it was so pointless!

Fearless - Yep, I saw yours last week. I obviously picked it up wrong last October re the cardboard one. Did we ever find out who posted it?

Yes, well remembered RJD! (And lovely card too!!). Believe it or not folks, I have more of those -- that girl is easy eveywhere! And the weird thing is, I can't remember how I acquired them...

Hee hee, that seems so long ago - last October that is. I remember sending in a card from Westhaven Bay, which never reached the UK (apparently?) and also, didn't we celebrate quite a few birthdays that month??

I believe there's a few round about then, Valp.

I'm getting a little worried about you, Appy. Hoarding postcards about renewing your cartax?!?!?

Oh Fearless (16), They are among the least worrying things I hoard!
