Windows on Your World update

Eddie Mair | 12:13 UK time, Thursday, 25 January 2007

As advertised, it is now too late to send your picture. We are currently collating all those that we received with a view to finalising the display by the end of January. Then we'll work on posting those that fell through the gaps!

Thank you for sending. There'll be more on-air material on Windows coming soon.

I hadn't realised you were still struggling with that lot or I wouldn't have clogged up your system with little piccies to cheer you up.

Sometimes I feel so ...... underappreciated (sob).

Right, Eddie, you've heard what Appy says. Please give her a huggis today of all days!

    Note to Appy:

A huggis is a cross between a hug and a kiss. Really nice, especially with turnip.

I have a feeling that we won't get a reply from Appy for some time, as she'll be floating up in the clouds after that rather large hug!

Appy: Are you alright? Have you picked yourself up off the floor yet?

My goodness, Eddie, your huggis packs a powerful punch!

Many congratulations, Appy. Surely proof, as if proof were needed, that persistance gets its reward. And well done to Big Sis as well for providing the assistance when it was needed. A true friend indeed! :-))))))

Appy!!!!! Just spotted the Huggis! You lucky girl, but about time really.

You can throw away the candles and crack open a bottle of something lovely!

    Eddie you're a star!

Oh Aperitivo - do you still feel good? What a man, he's been saving himself for you hasn't he - no-one else has had a hug from The Mair Man!

Thank you ladies and gents for your warm congratulations. I am overcome.

I was "working from home" today (i.e. frogging and doing housework and so now trying to catch up with myself late on). I kid you not that I really did go and have a lie down in the late afternoon. In fact, Eddie's lovely voice lulled me to sleep, fully clothed, on top of my bed (unheard of). I can only put it down to the aftermath of the adrenalin rush resulting from the big hugs. That or the very stressful morning yesterday anyway...

What pleasures has the world left for me? Surely nothing can ever compare...
