"Spiritual Alzheimer's" - Cardinal Ivan Dias, a senior Vatican official, states his view of "liberal" churches.
At the Lambeth Conference, the cardinal, who belongs to the Vatican's Congregation for Evangelisation, used some neat imagery to describe churches which abandon traditional teaching on homosexuality. Clearly warming to the theme, he also talked of "ecclesial Parkinson's" in the same speech.
