Division is the process of breaking a number up into equal parts, and working out how many equal parts can be made.
For example, dividing 20 by 4 means splitting 20 into 4 equal groups of 5.
Division is normally represented by the symbol âĂ·â¶Ä. It can also sometimes be represented by the symbol â/â.
In this video CAL has 30 sausages, and he wants to know if that will be enough sausages for him to have the amount he likes to eat each day.
He needs to use division to work this out. Will CAL have enough sausages?
