Sunshine, blue skies and ice-cream, it can only mean one thing – Summer has finally arrived for Declan and Pip!
After Spring, during the months of June, July and August, we have the season of Summer.
By this time of the year, everything is in full bloom. Trees are bursting with green leaves, the farmer’s fields are full of crops and juicy berries are perfectly ripe and ready to eat - what is your favourite Summer food?
The best Summer days seem to go on forever. That is because this is the time of year when the sun stays in the sky the longest, with plenty of sunshine and shorter nights.
If we are lucky, or maybe unlucky if you are like Declan, we should get lots of hot weather too. Perfect for a visit to the beach!
