WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THESE HARRY POTTER POSTS?

  • A couple of the characters seem similar to people who share balanced and unbiased views which CAN be believed AND SHARED, but make sure you double check any “facts” are true before you share anyone’s posts yourself.

  • A handful of characters appear similar to people who share misinformation (which is misleading and incorrect info that people share because they think it’s true) and disinformation (which is deliberately deceptive and wrong).

  • Some characters seem like the kind of people that share scams. Remember, if something looks too good to be true, the chances are IT IS! So don’t click a link that seems like a scam, do your research on it first!

  • There are character who, in real life, would have an unconscious bias. These are thoughts based on experience, prejudices or personal assumptions. For more about this, watch our Confession Pod Unconscious Bias film here.

  • Some of the characters are like TikTokers who seem like they know the news but have no journalist training so can’t be trusted. Make sure you DON'T share content if it doesn't come from a trustworthy source like the ±«Óătv.
