Brendan's a hopeless case as a schoolteacher, but his imaginative life is rich with images and characters from his favourite films. When he bumps into Trudy, he thinks she's a like-minded nursery teacher, but she turns out to be something a bit different. While Brendan introduces her to the glories of cinema, Trudy teaches Brendan about sex and her other great passion - stealing things.
