The Lego Building Brick

Contributed by David Little

The Lego Building Brick

The Lego Brick began in 1934 it was designed by Ole Kirk Christiansen. The initial design was simple but clever. It spoke to all classes of people lower middle and upper. It has done this by its cheap price and universal form which makes it a timeless piece. Wherever you come from everyone has their own story to tell. It brings everyone together regardless of sex, race, and age. It allows the user to put their own stamp in history by using their own imagination to create endless pieces of design.
When I was young Lego gave me the opportunity to express my artistic side. What it allowed me to do and every other child was to visualise my creative ideas. Give an insight into what I was feeling and allow me to put my own stamp on history. By giving other people who see my designs the ability to share in my emotions and feelings
