Produced specifically as a Showmans Traction Engine by Fowlers of Leeds in 1920. Many fairgrounds operated such engines until replaced by diesel and petrol lorries from the 1940s onwards. They not only provided transport between the sites but electric power for much fairground machinery and lighting. Bought in 1979 in derelict condition and now fully restored by the Howard brothers.
