Roles and responsibilities

• Alan manages the ±«Óãtv Estate across the UK, including outsourced facilities management, catering and professional services. He is also responsible for the major property projects in Belfast and Central Square Cardiff.

Biography

Alan Bainbridge is Director of ±«Óãtv Workplace, which has over 150 locations across the UK. Alan has over 40 years’ experience in construction, property and facilities management. His involvement in flagship schemes from PFI, retail, commercial and media has given him a breadth of understanding across the market from owner to occupier and across the supply chain. He directs an in-house team of 30 professionals who manage an outsourced team of over 800 across the UK.

Alan led the delivery of the award winning transformational MediaCityUK in Salford for the ±«Óãtv , A new headquarters for ±«Óãtv Wales in Central Square, Cardiff and securing the new proposed centre in Digbeth, Birmingham. He is a passionate advocate of the role that property can play in business when done properly. He uses the expertise of construction professionals over product sales and is committed to using the best in British manufacturing and fabrication to support this. He was also on the committee for the BS PAS 6463 - Inclusivity in Workplace Design.

His responsibilities include directing outsourced suppliers and partners across Estates Management, Facilities Management, Property Projects, Sustainability initiatives and Workplace design.

Annual remuneration (as at July 2023)

• £178,000-£184,999&²Ô²ú²õ±è;

Expenses and central bookings

Expenses are costs incurred by ±«Óãtv staff on behalf of the ±«Óãtv and claimed through the ±«Óãtv's expenses system.

Central bookings are costs incurred on behalf of the ±«Óãtv and booked through the ±«Óãtv's central bookings system. Both expenses and central bookings are published every three months.
