Air Ambulance Northern Ireland is a local charity that works in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to provide a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for Northern Ireland. It provides urgent medical assistance across the region, operating seven days a week for 12 hours per day. And its team can reach any location in Northern Ireland within approximately twenty-five minutes.

The HEMS team attend patients who are seriously ill or injured, bringing emergency pre-hospital care direct to the casualty. Their work saves lives and improves people’s chances of recovery from their injuries.

Air Ambulance NI needs to raise £2million each year to maintain its region-wide this service. Much of this work depends on public donations.
